One of the earliest and most sort after amulets from the Jatukam Ramathep lineage (Nakhon Sri Thammarat City Pillar). Phra Pidta PangPhrakan is believed to be an avatar of the Bodhisattva Jatukam Ramathep. Symbolically, it is believed that PangPhrakan is an amulet used to overcome obstacles, dispel the darkness of life, and lead those suffering from darkness into light. There are also stories to enhance the amulet's power. The power of Phra Pidta PangPhrakan has been demonstrated to those who respect and have faith in it, helping to resolve life crises or overcome various obstacles. If the request is within one's merit and Karma, and is within the bounds of morality and virtue, it is often within the power to grant it. This piece shown is the blok Krao Yao (Long Beard mould) which is one of the popular moulds which has the "rain-drops" surface of both front and back of the amulet.
